Hello Everyone!
  With those of you dealing with cancer, and the Healthcare Bill going possibly to vote soon, I was wondering: How will this affect your treatment if it passes? Would any of you be willing to share your stories out there in Blogland with the rest of us? I know a woman here in town who can't afford her treatments any more, as they are prohibitively expensive for her. That, IMO is criminal. People should be able to get treatments, no matter their finances.

Welcome!   This is my first post for head wrapping for women who have experienced hair loss, mainly due to chemo, but really head covering for any reason, including their faith and modesty.    I am a woman who wraps for her faith, and I participate in Interfaith projects about women and head covering, and am participating in the "Look Good, Feel Better," project with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. I am really excited to be a part of this! It will be in connection with our local hospital's Oncology department on June 19. I better get busy!! I intend to have gift bags for all the ladies with scarves and non-slip headbands. I will also be posting videos on wrapping styles, some how-to's. This blog post is dedicated to my friend, my inspiration, Searlait Siobhan Bean Gifford, who wraps for the cure, for her beloved sister, who lost her battle with cancer. She is amazing.
